Josh’s unexpected journey into the wealth management field began on the football field. Josh was a linebacker at Central Washington University until an injury and subsequent back surgery blindsided him his senior year. While his football career was over, this experience created an opportunity to work as a Special Needs Paraeducator. This new role shaped his future more than the gridiron ever could: it gave him a deep desire to serve people.
This newfound desire also translated seamlessly into Personal Financial Planning – a major offered at CWU. After receiving his degree, Josh entered personal banking. While he could develop genuine relationships with clients, his role left him wanting even greater depth and connection. Coming to SoundView was a perfect next step!
As an early bird, Josh is a regular at the gym, often before the sun comes up. But don’t worry, he still makes the time to enjoy himself by attending Mariner’s games with friends or traveling around the country.
Josh holds a B.S. in Financial Planning and will continue his education in pursuit of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in the Fall of 2022.
