Kevin Rigg’s interest in finances began as a young child who wanted to understand the nuances of planning, organizing, and budgeting money. He worked as a CPA at an accounting firm in southern Idaho before realizing he wanted to pursue the personal planning side of the business as it allowed him to have a broader engagement with clients. This led Kevin and his family to SoundView in 2005.
Kevin holds a BS in Business Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Idaho. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a member of both the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. With 18 years of experience, he is an expert in retirement planning particularly related to financial independence and sustainability, taxes, and cash flow planning. He also leads the SoundView team in developing practices and approaches that ensure a stellar client experience. Kevin appreciates that financial planning continually challenges him to learn and provides great opportunity to have deep, meaningful relationships with clients. Kevin and his family live in Olympia.
